A lifelong hoarder, collector of flea market finds and passionate fabrics scavenger.

After a career in fashion in London, followed by a period teaching languages before a move to rural Dorset for a slower and quieter life, the idea of combining frames and fabrics evolved as I set about decorating a small cottage.

Etymology (origin of words) has always tickled my nerdy nature - and the English language is rich in examples.
