frames & fabrics

Fashion, whether interiors or apparel, is always on the move, evolving. As a result many items are frequently discarded, old swapped for new.

 

The frames I am sourcing are mostly from last century. They are well made, have withstood the passage of time and are nearly always made of wood, with real glass. There is NO plastic.

Each frame has once adorned someone's wall and been admired and cherished before being discarded.

 

The fabrics I find have all started life in a different form, whether curtains, cushions, table linen or dresses. The papers and other ephemera are old - some from the 1940's, some from 1870's....some in English, some in French....
