Wording "Not all who wander are lost" originates from a poem written by J.R.R. Tolkien in The Fellowship of the Ring (1954). Specifically, it is the second line of "The Riddle of Strider," a poem penned by Bilbo Baggins to describe Aragorn, who appeared as a lowly ranger but was actually the rightful king.
